Iako još u iščekivanju novog albuma Petra Dundova (Ideas From The Pond najavljenom za kraje ožujka u izdanju Music Man Recordsa,), obožavatelji Petrove glazbe na trenutak su svoju koncentraciju usmjerili na novi EP naziva Stairway /The Arch istog izdavača, koji se na tržištu nalazi od kraja veljače 2012.
Svakim svojim novim izdanjem Dundov uspješno etablira svoje ime u samom vrhu svjetske glazbene produkcije, uvijek pomalo rastežući granice elektronskih žanrova u neku novu kategoriju koja odolijeva kategorizaciji. Riječ je o još jednom izdanju koji nosi vrlo upečatljiv potpis Petra Dundova ali je u isto vrijeme, svojim italo prizvukom i posve drugačiji od onog što smo do sada čuli.
Na A strani nalazi se Stairway, koja svojim trajanjem (8:52”) potvrđuje kako je Petar Dundov glazbenik koji svoju viziju voli predstaviti kroz pravu malu glazbenu fabulu. Ona ima uvod, zaplet, vrhunac, preokret, rasplet i kraj. A sve što se događa od prve do posljednje sekunde hipnotizirajuća je elektronska priča koja je mnoge glazbene kolege i fanove podsjetila na velikane Giorgio Morodera, Jean Michelle Jarra i Vangelisa.
The Arch svojom melodičnom synth konstrukcijom neodoljivo podsjeća na ekskluzivnu pozivnicu za putovanje kroz vrijeme, zazivajući nostalgiju 70 ih i 80-ih godina prošlog stoljeća.
Nakon ovakvog izdanja, popratnih kritika ali i najave novog albuma na Resident Advisoru gdje su Petra predstavili kao ‘najbolji hrvatski elektronski izvozni proizvod’, teško je ne pomisliti: “Što nam je to Petar Dundov zapakirao u novom albumu?”

Katie Porsch (Insanity Radio): Hadn't heard of Mr Dundov before and was pleasantly surprised. Stairway is a lovely slice of Moroder-esque techno disco, sounding like a modern update of lost synth oddities from the late 70s/early 80s like Automat. At 9 minutes it should seem overlong, but it's really not, as it keeps building in a really intelligent way. The Arch ramps up the synth disco to a slightly more predictable/oft-explored degree, but works really well still. The bass isn't as prominent as the previous tune, but it is a nice. Sounds a lot like modern mutant synth, italo-leaning producers like Ali Renault.
Norbert Borzym: Very retro sounds, reminds me underground italo disco sound of 80s. I really like it!!! Very good production.
